Did you know that more than half of
intentionally-set fires nationwide are directly attributable to juvenile fire play or firesetting? Hundreds of lives and billions of dollars are lost every year in the United States as a result of children playing with fire.
The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, in association with many community agencies and entities, hosts a comprehensive, regional juvenile firesetter intervention program called Fire F.R.I.E.N.D.S. (Firesetter Regional Intervention Education Network and Delivery System).
